The following NFTs were a joint collaboration between Orange Comet and Scott Kelly, a former military fighter pilot and test pilot, engineer, retired astronaut, and retired U.S. Navy captain who commanded the International Space Station (ISS) on three expeditions and was a member of the yearlong mission to the ISS. In October 2015, he set the record for the total accumulated number of days spent in space, the single longest space mission by an American astronaut.
This series, known as Dreams Out of This World, Postcards from Space, features Scott Kelly and the personal items worn by him while in space, forming 3,333 specially created generative 1 of 1 illustrations. The creator of this series, Orange Comet, is co-founded by some of the biggest names in the sports and entertainment industries, including Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Kurt Warner, Shakim Compere, with William Shatner, Peter Luukko and Craig Richardson in the Advisory Board.
100% of net proceeds of the live drop of these NFTs on 12th April 2022 were donated to The Global Empowerment Mission in support of their efforts in the recent Ukraine war.
