A gang of 5,555 Hangry Hippos were released into the wild and into the hands of collectors and appreciators all over the world in Q2 of 2022. Holders enjoy the privilege of being in a community on Discord with access to NFT-related tools on hangry.tools (to be launched) and be part of a DAO, making each Hippo a governance token.
Hangry (we take that to mean Hungry and Angry) Hippo holders also own part ownership of 6 plots of virtual land on The Sandbox and future revenue out of the use of those land plots. These virtual land plots were acquired at 50% mint level, which was achieved in May 2022. At 100% successful mint level, $30,000 and 10% of all future royalty commissions will be donated to Charity Water (because hippos love clean water).
